ALUTAPE HT

Pure aluminium foil 

Available in widths of 50 mm and 75 mm

Application

  • Used on ductwork to provide an airtight seal, a sure and long lasting moisture-proof and sealing-proof barrier against weather influences.
  • For maximum effect the surface must be clean and free of dust, moisture and other foreign contamination.

Material

  • Aluminium foil with an adhesive coat on one side.
  • Coated on one face with an acrylic pressures sensitive adhesive, having excellent shear strength
  • Thickness 50µm
  • Lenght 50 meters
  • Usage temp -20°C / +155°C and during 1 hour until 200°C

  • 3 layers: 40 m aluminium film, UV-resistant acrylic adhesive layer and monosiliconised white paper protective liner
  • Min. mounting temp -15°C.
  • Total thickness: 76μ.
  • Total weight: 138 g/m².
  • Weight backing: 108 g/m².
  • Weight adhesive: 30 g/m².
  • Elongation at break: 8%.
  • Temperature resistance: -30°C + 150°C.
  • Apply temperature: -10°C + 40°C.
  • Adhesive type: UV-resistant acrylic.
  • Adhesion:
    18-22 N / 25 mm to steel,
    <0.50 N / 25 mm to backing.
  • Rolling tack (ball 11mm): 10 cm.
  • Tensile strength: 57.5 N / 25 mm.
  • Color: silver aluminium.

  • The ductwork connection shall be sealed airtight by means of UV-resistant pure aluminium foil tape, coated on face with an acrylic pressures sensitive adhesive Permanent service temperature between -30°C and +150°C.
