Firestop cushions consist of a mineral wool, that resists high temperatures (750°C) very well, and whose operational temperature is further increased to 1090°C by treatment with a special intumescent layer.

The whole is packed in a thermoresistant tissue

• Fire stop cushions are suitable for larger openings.
• These openings may contain cables, cable trays, or nothing at all.
• They are also excellent for filling temporary openings

• Under influence of fire the cushions build a barrier for smoke and fire by the intumescing of the special layer in the pillows.
• During the process of combustion no poisonous gases are freed.
• Openings up to 600x400 mm can be sealed with firestop cushions.
